Dynamic Side Of Spiritualism - SUFISM

' Sufi Whirling '
The interest in Sufi music  dragged me down to study about Sufism and the evolution of  Sufi Movement. The essence of Sufism is about Prayer and Meditation for the self peace and enlightenment. This provoked me to learn more about the different culture i.e Islamic  Culture and the dynamic side of spiritualism.

' The Divine Call of God '
The word 'Sufi'  is derived from the word “Safa” meaning pure or purity. Sufism is the mystical dimension of Islam. In other words, Sufism being a complex phenomenon;  is like a stream, which gathers volume by the joining of tributaries from many lands. Its original source is the Quran and the life of Prophet Muhammad from the Islamic Culture.

According to the research on the Internet the term Sufi is generally used for that class of Muslim saints which clad itself in simple woollen garments with a view to live the life of poverty and humility and which instead of accepting the literal external meaning of the Quran lays greater emphasis on its underlying mysteries.

There is a huge history behind ' Sufism 'which  is basically a religion based on the truth of life. It is a mystic tradition that consists of a varied range of ideas and practices that emphasise on the attainment of divine love and compassion of the heart.of Sufism as "a science whose objective is the reparation of the heart and turning it away from all else but God". Universal Sufism has been defined by great Sufi masters as a way to travel to the presence of the Divine force and fill oneself with inner beauty and compassion.

Sufism is a Muslim movement whose followers seek to find divine truth and love through direct encounters with God. Sufism arose from within Islam in the 8th-9th centuries C.E. as an ascetic movement. The Sufi movement consists of fraternal orders in which leaders train and assist disciples in the mastery of Sufism's philosophical principles and ritual practices.

The experience of the visit to ' Nizamuddin Dargah ' was really amazing and wonderful about the new learning of the Sufi culture.
